The Viper Piper - Bagpipe Tunes: Website containing a listing of tunes in alphabetical order in various formats.
Unicorn Limited: Books for Scots, Celts, and Vikings: The best source for non-Internet bagpipe music books and on of HPD's favorite resources. Home of Scotcopy, a company specializing in the reproduction of older, out-of-print, out-of-copyright books of bagpipe music (i.e., pre-1956), reproduced as "Scotcopy," which is a photocopy of the original which is then soft bound.
Performance Venues
The 18th Southeastern Workshop: A piping and drumming workshop featuring instructors from Scotland, Canada and North America, held annually at the end of February, first competition event for HPD's upcoming 2004 competition season.
Glasgow Highland Games: Held in Glasgow, Kentucky, the Glasgow Highland Games are an annual Scottish festival and the second competition event for HPD's upcoming 2004 competition season.
Alabama Highland Games: Highland Games at which HPD competes annually, third competition event for HPD's upcoming 2004 competition season.
Stone Mountain Highland Games: Annual Highland Games held at the Stone Mountain State Park in Georgia, often featuring more than thirty pipe bands, and the final competition event for HPD's upcoming 2004 competition season.
City Stages: Three-day event held annually in Downtown Birmingham, Alabama for which HPD performs biannually.
Safari Cup: Coffee bar and art gallery located in Downtown Birmingham, Alabama. Offers breakfast and lunch, some of the finest gourmet coffee from the Ethiopia and Kenya, and a full alcohol list.
